ERASMUS+ WELCOME MEETING

On 02.10.2023, after the official inauguration of the academic year, a welcome meeting was held for Erasmus+ students.
The meeting was hosted by the Deputy Rector for Science and Foreign Cooperation, Dr. Marcin Mrugalski, Prof. UZ. The Deputy Rector warmly welcomed all students, wished them a successful semester and encouraged them to actively participate in academic and student life. Then the department of international cooperation presented the students with the necessary information on the course of their mobility at the University of Zielona Góra. The meeting ended with symbolic refreshments and the handing out of welcome kits with goodies for students.
The meeting was attended by about 60 students from all over the world – Turkey, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Vietnam, Georgia, Romania.
The most popular majors among the students are English philology, biology, biotechnology, mathematics, computer science and economics. All the students will stay at UZ for the entire winter semester, and more than 20 students will remain at our university for the entire academic year.
The meeting was also attended by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Zielona Góra student organization, which organizes an Orientation Week for Erasmus+ students in the first week of the semester, where students can acclimate to their new environment and get to know UZ and Zielona Góra better.
Thank you very much for your presence and we wish all students a successful semester.
